About

At Root & Cradle, I believe support begins with trust. My values—honesty, integrity, compassion, and respect—guide the way I care for you and your little one. With evidence-informed practices and a focus on empowerment through education, I create a safe and nurturing space where families feel seen, supported, and confident on their journey.

Read on to learn more about the values that shape my care.

Mother and Daughter

Compassion

Postpartum is a vulnerable time. Mothers do not feel like themselves. We need to have compassion for them and where they’re at and support them on the journey to get back to themselves.

Trustworthiness

Healthcare is a vulnerable industry. For post partum, as said before, women have gone through a transformative experience where they are not themselves and not all the way in their bodies just yet. We need trust so that they can relax and heal. They need to not only trust me but we are working on them trusting themselves as they’re journeying through this new phase of life.

Integrity & Accountability

I believe that people should do what they say they will do and not over promise. Having integrity is another pillar that builds trust bc clients know what to expect from you.

Honesty & Transparency

We communicate clearly about what we offer, how we work, and what clients can expect. I have seen many websites and businesses try to hide price or expectations to get customers and I would rather show up with all my cards on the table and allow my client to choose me. I also feel that honesty & transparency helps build relationships and trust. Which is very important when caring for someone’s child and health.

Empowerment & Education

We provide clear, accessible information so clients can make confident decisions about their care and wellness. Again back to trust. Share my knowledge so you trust my knowledge.

Mutual Respect & Open-Mindedness

Because this is a tender time, parents need to respect me and who I am to know that I’m doing/suggesting what’s best for them and their child. They need to remain open minded because every suggestion won’t align with what society has said they should do or what they thought was a good idea while reading all those books before birth. I also will respect all of my clients no matter their culture or preferences.

Safety & Evidence-Informed Care

We only recommend practices and herbal remedies that are safe, well-researched, and appropriate for each individual. I want all my herbal remedies to be backed by research that is linked on my website, & personal research and development so that we return back to this overarching principle: TRUST. Nothing here works without trust.
